"Azerbaijan plans an amnesty for the Armenian fighters of Karabakh who will give up their weapons and lay them down. However, Karabakh military units announced that they would continue the resistance. Hikmen Hajiyev, adviser to the President of Azerbaijan, told Reuters about this.
"Even about former military personnel and fighters, if they can be described in such a way, even for them, we provide amnesty or hint at the possibility of it. We see individual army groups and officers who have made public statements that they will not reconcile and will continue to resist. We also see some small groups going into the forests. But we don't see it as a big challenge for our security. Of course, it will cause certain difficulties, but not on such a large scale," Hajiyev said.
