"An episode of eternal British-French confrontation will unfold in Washington;" Badalyan

Analyst Hakob Badalyan wrote on his Facebook page.

"According to everything, a rather difficult meeting is expected in Washington, as evidenced by the "exchange" on Twitter posts of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Britain on the occasion of their meeting in London, which took place within the framework of the conference on the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

I think it should be paid attention to the wording of the notes. First, Bayramov writes that they are committed to the region's peace "despite the challenges created by Armenia." The British Foreign Minister writes back, saying that they support the prosperity and stability of the area and that "the historic peace agreement with Armenia defines access."

With the meeting in London, Azerbaijan laid the foundations or strengthened them for taking challenging positions in the negotiations expected in Washington.

In that sense, the step of Yerevan's resilience was made in parallel with the visit of the Minister of Defense to Paris, which was at the invitation of France.

According to everything, an "eternal" British-French confrontation will take place in Washington, with the participation of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The whole point is that Britain is the "partner" of the new US Atlantic Charter. According to everything, Armenia needs to look for more objective solutions to the balance problems, so to speak, closer to the region. They may be less attractive but more practical, considering that France is clearly looking for its place in a game scheme today and is even knocking on the door of the BRICS assembly.

Paris, of course, remains a very dear and essential friend-partner for us."
