Why did they organize the rally on August 5, 2019, and applaud Pashinyan?

Vahram Atanesyan, a former deputy of the Armenian Central Committee and Artsakh National Assembly, wrote on his Facebook page.

"The most remarkable conclusion of Nikol Pashinyan's speech is the mention of the joint session of the Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh, convened in Stepanakert in the spring of 2019. Not as a recording of a historical fact, but that his program speech was agreed with Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, Secretary of the Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mayilian. I think the agreement should be established first at the work-expert level. In other words, before the convening of the joint session of the Security Councils, the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia sent the working version of Nikol Pashinyan's speech to the staff of the Artsakh president, from where it was addressed to the Secretary of the Security Council and the Foreign Minister for a conclusion or comments, approval was received, which Nikol Pashinyan was informed about.

The most crucial emphasis of Pashinyan's speech is two.
- he is not authorized to negotiate on behalf of Artsakh
- the principles and elements of regulation are unclear, they need additional interpretation and clear reformulations that do not give rise to misinterpretation.

In essence, this is an announcement to cancel the preliminary stages of negotiations, at least in a political sense, to start everything from a clean page. After that meeting, the authorities of Artsakh worked with Nikol Pashinyan for another year. Moreover, four months after the joint session of the Security Councils, on August 5, 2019, Nikol Pashinyan announced in Stepanakert's Revival Square: "Artsakh is Armenia and that's it", which is considered a breakdown of negotiations and "casus-belli". Now a question. What decision was taken at the joint session of the Security Councils? The authorities of Artsakh, the military-political elite authorized Pashinyan to negotiate on their behalf as well, did they agree that he should start from his point? If yes, then with what justification and perspective? If not, why didn't they announce it? Why did they organize the rally on August 5, 2019, attend and applaud Pashinyan? Who has the answer to these questions?'
