It is not clear why some of us are against the delimitation of Armenia-Azerbaijan with Soviet maps; Atanesyan

The former deputy of the NKR Central Committee, publicist Vahram Atanesyan, wrote on his Facebook page.

"Azerbaijan, of course, will not want a map of the boundary made after 1923 to be put on the table because it will be a map of the Azerbaijan SSR with autonomous Nagorno-Karabakh as part of it. And to recognize, say, the Sotk-Khoznavar-Kornidzor-Shurnukh-Nrnadzor line with the same map and not see the NK autonomy, Adrb. Borders separated from the rest of the USSR's territory are impossible.
This is understandable.
It is unclear why some of us are against the delimitation of Armenia-Azerbaijan with Soviet maps as long as they don't say that they protect the borders of Armenia determined by the League of Nations. That is a lie. The League of Nations has a decision: if the independent Transcaucasian republics do not assess their borders by mutual agreement, it will be done by a commission, and the ethnic characteristics of the territory will be taken as a basis.
