The Russians hand over all of Artsakh to Azerbaijan; Babajanyan

Armen Babajanyan, chairman of the "For the Republic" party, wrote on his Facebook page.

"This is not a violation of the infamous tripartite agreement of November 9, but the beginning of establishing a new status quo.
Russian peacekeepers have nothing to do in the Lachin Corridor from today. By occupying these positions, the Azerbaijanis completely control all the communications of Lachin.
Even now, establishing a checkpoint in any part of the Lachin Corridor must improve its urgency and importance for Baku. Azerbaijan can refuse the demand to install a checkpoint and even open the corridor. All obstacles and uncertainties in the direction of the hall and other communications are no longer overcome. And the Russian peacekeepers no longer have any function in the corridor.
After Azerbaijan captures these heights, what will be the scope of the Russians' responsibilities in Artsakh? At the core of the Artsakh issue, the Lachin issue has been and remains a cornerstone. After Lavrov's latest statements about the future of Artsakh and the actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces, it can be said with certainty that by handing over these heights, the Russians will hand over all of Artsakh. There is no doubt that the matter will not even reach 2025 when the Russians leave Artsakh.
Azerbaijan has the collective support of the West in withdrawing Russian peacekeeping from Artsakh. We have no chance here.
And what is our strategy? What will we do for our compatriots' safety (it is ridiculous to talk about rights now)?
As of today, 2,000 Russian peacekeepers are regular policemen in Artsakh.
Why is it important to know, record and analyze all this?
Thus, the Russians will hand over everything given to them, everywhere, on the territory of Armenia, to give up all the assigned positions and areas of responsibility.
Continue to follow the warnings of the Russians, aramabrahamians, and samvelkarapetians to connect the process of ratifying the Rome Statute, which is extremely important for the vital interests of Armenia, with the decision of the international court to arrest Putin.
The Russians understand that the ratification of the Statute by Armenia does not threaten Putin. It represents a strategic partner of the President of Azerbaijan, his accomplice, and civil and military. And Russia should use its influence on Armenia to free Azerbaijan's war criminals from responsibility.
It seems to many that this way, the Russians will not push Azerbaijan into a full-scale war or, most likely, they will not blow up the country from within.
You're mistaken; the Russians made a strategic decision regarding Armenia long ago; they targeted Armenia and Armenia's future from all directions and fronts.
Their goal, not only theirs, remains the same: to deprive Armenia of the right to choose, the opportunity to seek and have allies, friends, and the dream of establishing, strengthening, and developing statehood."
