The Armenian Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church has submitted documents for state registration to the country's Ministry of Justice, which mid-April will implement. The Yerevan-Armenian diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church informed "TASS" about this on Wednesday.
The temporary ruler of the Armenian Diocese of Yerevan is the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Leonidas of Klin. In the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in October 2021, a diocese was created in Armenia.
