Why is the Kremlin interested in the dismissal of Ruben Vardanyan?

The Russians immediately understood that Azerbaijan had to comply with the decision of the UN court and quickly organized a meeting between the parties. If Azerbaijan would abide by the court's decision, leave the road, and the corridor would not be opened, the question of replacing the Russians would be raised in the UN.

To quickly organize the Stepanakert-Baku negotiations on this issue and to be ahead of the West, they had to remove Ruben Vardanyan from Moscow. If Vardanyan had stayed these days, Aliyev would not have been able to negotiate in the Russian format and open the corridor...
