The French Foreign Minister and the US Secretary of State called for immediate restoration of the free movement of the Lachin Corridor

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephone conversation during which they discussed several international topics, including the situation around Ukraine and Iran, as well as Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. 

During the phone conversation, Colonna and Blinken reaffirmed their "full support" for Ukraine and discussed the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"The situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan was discussed, ongoing efforts to resolve the conflict were evaluated, and the need for immediate restoration of free movement through the Lachin Corridor was emphasized," the statement said.
