Davit Sanasaryan, the former head of the SCS, wrote on his Facebook page: "Russia blocked the road.
The road connecting Artsakh to Armenia has been closed for six days, and everyone has focused on the fake environmentalists, the pigeons they are drowning, and other small things.
At this moment, it is more than clear that the road is physically closed on both sides by Russian soldiers. In between, some leprechaun-like phenomena, dressed as environmentalists, are playing the game drawn by Aliyev-Putin-Erdogan.
The initial goal, at least for me, is obvious:
As a result of the pressure, Azerbaijan extracted a peace treaty that confirmed its victory, as well as the Nakhichevan Corridor in their language, and certain guarantees that there would be no rematch.
Russia controls the crossroads connecting the west to the east, the north to the south, and has a military base in Artsakh (and in the eyes of Moscow, in Azerbaijan).
We cannot fight against this scenario by throwing stones at each other, making fearful decisions, and relying only on the international community's reaction; it is a path to defeat.
But we have no place to retreat; behind us is our thousand-year-old culture and statehood, and the primary goal of our enemies, beyond those listed above, is to deprive us of our statehood and stop the continuity of our culture.
Armenia will remain a republic, and our culture will flourish and give new seeds."
