US President Joe Biden announced at a press conference held in Washington after talks with French President Emmanuel Macron that he is ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin if he decides to end the war in Ukraine.
Emmanuel Macron assured during the press conference that France and the USA do not intend to pressure Ukraine to participate in the negotiation process.
"We will never put pressure on Ukraine to make unacceptable compromises," said the French president. According to him, the development of the situation in the coming weeks and months, as well as the decision of the Ukrainian side, will allow us to understand which moment will be most suitable for negotiations.
