Azerbaijan can no longer present any territorial claim to the sovereign territory of Armenia

Edmon Marukyan, RA ambassador with special assignments, wrote on his Facebook page.

"The minutes of the meeting between Prime Minister Pashinyan, President Aliyev, President Macron, and President Michel on October 6, 2022, are:
1. Azerbaijan has agreed to cooperate with the EU civilian mission, which will be along the border. Therefore, the future aggression of Azerbaijan will be monitored on the spot. Moreover, the already occupied part of the sovereign territory of Armenia will be recorded.
On October 5, 2022, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Joseph Borrell, announced that the EU wanted to send an observation mission to the contact zone. Still, due to opposition to Azerbaijan, the task was never sent.
2. Azerbaijan agreed to recognize Armenia by the UN Charter and the Alma-Ata Declaration, after which Azerbaijan can no longer submit any territorial claims to the sovereign territory of Armenia during the delimitation process, which also means that the Azerbaijani armed forces must withdraw before this from the currently occupied territories."
