The "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources reports that due to the penetration of a cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea, precipitation is expected in most regions from the afternoon to the evening of January 13, on the night of January 13-14, in the daytime of the 14th and in the separate areas on the 15th, sleet and rain in the foothills and valleys during the daytime of the 13th, and snow throughout the republic on the night of the 13th.
On the evening of January 13 and on the night of the 14th, significant snowfall will occur in separate areas, with wind gusts of 15-18 m/s, blizzards, and low horizontal visibility expected in separate mountainous zones. Air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-13 degrees from January 14-16.
Due to the drop in temperature, black ice is expected on the republic's roads overnight on January 13 and into the morning of January 14.
