The “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” SNCO reports:
Due to a cyclone over the Mediterranean Sea, snow is expected across most regions of the republic from the afternoon of December 31 through the evening of January 1-2, with significant snowfall in some areas.
In some mountainous areas of the republic, wind gusts of 18-23 m/s, blizzards, and low horizontal visibility are also expected. Air temperatures will drop by 14-18 degrees at night across the republic on January 3-4.
Snow is expected in Yerevan from the evening of December 31, on the night of January 1, 2, and in the morning.
