We don't forget about health during the holidays

New Year and winter holidays always bring joy, family gatherings, and hearty meals, but it is equally important to remember about your health.
European health authorities recommend a few simple steps to ensure a healthy, safe holiday.

  • Do not mix medications with alcohol. Alcohol can interact dangerously with medications, causing dizziness, drowsiness, or even serious accidents. Be careful with certain foods.
  • Avoid spreading infections at holiday markets and crowded places. Especially if there are vulnerable groups around, such as children, the elderly, or pregnant women, vaccination against influenza is the best protection. Remember, after vaccination, the body acquires complete immunity about two weeks later.
  • If you experience flu symptoms (cough, fever, runny nose), it is recommended to wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, and ventilate the rooms regularly.
