The "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources warns:
"Due to the penetration of a cold atmospheric front from the northwest, light snow will fall in separate regions on December 26 and on the night of December 27.
From the afternoon of December 27 to the evening, and from the morning of December 27 to the night of December 28, and in the morning of December 28, snow is expected throughout the republic, and in the daytime of December 28 in Gegharkunik, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik, heavy in separate regions.
Wind gusts of 17-20 m/s, blizzards, and low horizontal visibility are also expected in separate zones of the mountainous regions of the republic. The air temperature will decrease by 5-7 degrees throughout the republic on December 28-30.
"Snow is expected in Yerevan late in the evening of December 27, during the night of December 27, and the morning of the 28th."
