The 6th session of the intergovernmental joint commission between the Republic of Armenia and the Arab Republic of Egypt was held in Egypt.
As reported by the ministry, the co-chair of the Armenian side of the commission was the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, and the co-chair of the Egyptian side was the Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation of the Emirate of Egypt, Rania Al-Mashat.
During the session, prospects for the development of bilateral trade and economic relations were discussed, in particular in the fields of trade, investment, import and export, industry, agriculture, water resources management, logistics, tourism, and other areas.
During the meeting, Gevorg Papoyan presented the “Crossroads of Peace” and TRIPP initiatives, emphasizing their importance for regional economic cooperation and long-term peace. At the end of the meeting, the minutes of the intergovernmental commission session were signed.
