Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Françoise Jacob signed the Armenia-UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework Document for 2026-2030.
The signing ceremony was attended by the heads of UN agencies' Armenian representations and representatives of the RA state departments.
The Deputy Prime Minister delivered a welcoming speech, after which the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Françoise Jacob, outlined the document's main content and the scope of cooperation.
From the perspective of developing Armenia-UN cooperation, both sides emphasized the importance of approving the document and implementing further joint programs within its framework.
Mher Grigoryan emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Armenia is determined to continue reforms across all the above-mentioned areas and is pleased to pursue this path together with Armenia's development partners.
"Our new framework for cooperation is fully consistent with the Government's priorities and provides an opportunity to combine development policy with Armenia's peace agenda. "This allows us to have unified, coordinated, and future-oriented programmatic cooperation," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
