Precipitation is expected in the form of snow in mountainous regions

In the territory of the republic, precipitation is expected on December 9 and on the night of December 10 in most regions; on December 10, in the separate areas, in the form of snow and sleet in mountainous and separate foothill regions, and rain in valley regions.

On December 11-13, no precipitation is expected. On December 9-13, fog is expected in the low-lying parts of the Ararat and Shirak plains in the morning. The wind is westerly, 2-5 m/s. The air temperature will not change significantly.

On December 9, on the night of December 10, rain is expected in Yerevan. On December 10 and on December 11-13, no precipitation is expected. On December 9 and 10, fog is possible in the low-lying parts of the city in the morning.

Due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the southwest, precipitation is expected throughout the republic on the evening of December 9 and into the night of December 10, lasting until the morning hours. In Shirak, Lori, Gegharkunik, and the mountainous regions of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik, and in the foothills of Syunik, precipitation will be in the form of snow and sleet, in some places, intense. Rain is expected in the Ararat Valley, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor, the valley zones of Tavush and Syunik, and in Yerevan.
