On November 20, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan met with OpenAI’s Vice President for Global Business, Nate Harbachek, and Ivy Lau-Schindewolf, Representative for International Policy and Partnerships, the embassy reported.
The opportunities for applying artificial intelligence in education, healthcare, industry, cloud infrastructure, and other areas were discussed.
The ambassador highlighted the importance of cooperation with OpenAI as a key direction for developing Armenia’s artificial intelligence ecosystem. OpenAI representatives said that they will soon submit their proposal for collaboration to the Armenian side.
