The procedures for Armenian businesses to enter the US market were discussed

On November 18, within the framework of his working visit to California, the Armenian Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with John Shea, President and CEO of the World Trade Center of Northern California, and Tessa Carter, Director of Operations, the embassy reported.

Karen Israelyan, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles, also attended the meeting.

The interlocutors discussed ways to deepen Armenian-American economic cooperation and, in this context, possible new initiatives. During the meeting, the prospects for expanding import and export, as well as the procedures for Armenian businesses to enter the US market, were discussed. In relation to the latter, the importance of developing programs that enhance the skills and marketing capabilities of Armenian enterprises while strengthening their competitiveness in the international market.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperating.
