Team Group presented its large-scale energy sector development projects: Robust Armenia conference held
Highlighting Armenia's energy security, the creation of renewable energy sources, their effective exploitation, and sectoral discussions in this direction, the Team group of companies supported the Robust Armenia annual conference. This year, the event was held under the title "Efficiency – the Key to Armenia's Energy Security".
At the conference organized by Mediamax Media Company, the Team presented the activities of its member companies in the direction of sustainable development, including the quadrupling of renewable energy sources in a few years, the launch of a solar power plant with an annual output of 16 million kWh in Gegharkunik, and other projects.
Aram Barseghyan, Deputy Director of Team Telecom Armenia, the largest company in the Team group of companies, delivered a speech at the conference, highlighting the synergy of the group's companies for the purpose of achieving energy efficiency and jointly creating more energy-saving solutions.
"When launching each new project, we study not only business efficiency, but also its potential impact on the environment to choose the most effective solution and the principles of sustainable development. We are not limited to introducing innovative solutions; we build infrastructure that will serve for decades and will be not only technologically but also environmentally efficient," noted Aram Barseghyan.
At the conference's panel discussion titled "Innovation and Sustainable Development: Opportunities and Risks," Nelly Malyan, Director of Team Systems, Team Group of Companies, presented the path to expanding the Team Energy electric vehicle charging network and forming a culture of using electric vehicles in the republic.
Today, with more than 200 electric vehicle charging stations in Armenia, approximately 70 percent of which are located in the regions, we have already ensured a sufficient number throughout the republic for drivers to travel comfortably. We will continue to expand the number and geography of stations, paying great attention to their capacity to ensure fast charging and time savings. Team Energy's fast charging stations with a capacity of 240 kW are already in place both in the capital and in the regions, and work is actively underway," noted Nelly Malyan.
Team Group of Companies will continue to invest in the construction of robust infrastructure and the implementation of sustainable development projects, contributing to Armenia's increased energy security and promoting the adoption of energy-efficient solutions.
