At 18:23 Yerevan time, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in the western part of Cyprus. Levon Azizyan, Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, wrote about this on his Facebook page, referring to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km, 15 km from the city of Paphos. The tremors were felt in many regions of Cyprus. This is the second 5.0+ magnitude earthquake to occur in Cyprus in recent hours.
