Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Christopher Rudy, founder and CEO of the American media company Newsmax. The Prime Minister welcomed the recent growth of News Max's interest in Armenia and highlighted the initiatives aimed at developing cooperation between the Armenian and American media, emphasizing that this is a new opportunity for deepening mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that relations between Armenia and the United States are currently at a high level, based on shared values of democracy, human rights, peace, and security.
Christopher Rudy thanked the Prime Minister for the reception, emphasizing that News Max is interested in covering political, economic, and regional processes in Armenia. He noted that the media holding attaches importance to the steps of the Armenian government aimed at peace and stability, and is ready for practical cooperation in the information sphere.
The interlocutors also discussed opportunities for cooperation in expanding Armenia's presence in the international information environment, enhancing the effectiveness of state communication, and combating disinformation.
