Arman Yeghoyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration, and committee members Sona Ghazaryan and Tatevik Gasparyan met on November 7 with a delegation led by Andreja Metelko-Zgombich, State Secretary for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.
Welcoming the guests, Arman Yeghoyan highlighted the deepening of Armenia-Croatia interparliamentary cooperation. According to the committee chairman, there is significant potential for developing cooperation in several areas. The meeting discussed the close relations between Armenia and the European Union, as well as the process of liberalizing visa requirements.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, Andreja Metelko-Zgombich noted that the goal of their visit is to develop cooperation with Armenia, which has European aspirations. The diplomat highly appreciated the achievements of our country in recent years, particularly in normalizing relations with its neighbors.
The guests presented the peculiarities of the Croatian government's structure and other institutions, both during and after its membership in the European Union, and expressed their willingness to exchange experiences in different formats.
