Team Telecom Armenia's 5G network has been launched in Gyumri and Vanadzor. Thanks to this latest generation technology, residents of both cities are now able to use all modern digital platforms and services with higher speed and reliability. Large-scale work on modernizing the Team's mobile networks continues in Yerevan and the regions.
"At the same time, we are upgrading both the 4G network and expanding the 5G network, providing completely new quality standards for subscribers. Providing safe and modern services throughout the republic is a priority for us, and work in this direction is ongoing. By the end of this year, thousands of Team base stations will operate exclusively with modern technologies, contributing to the dynamic development of the country's digital environment," notes Hayk Yesayan, General Director of Team Telecom Armenia.
The construction of the newest network is being carried out with the introduction of state-of-the-art equipment and technologies from the global technology giant Ericsson. Thanks to the implementation of advanced technologies, the company's next strategic program —the replacement of the 2G network —will also be implemented more smoothly, providing subscribers with more secure and high-quality digital services.
The network upgrade is also being carried out on interstate roads, ensuring the reliability of communication services even during periods of heavy traffic.
Thus, Team's 5G network is already available in the three largest cities of the republic, providing hundreds of thousands of citizens with safe, modern, and reliable mobile communication.
