Armenia to have a military attaché in Cyprus

The government adopted a decision to establish a military attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Cyprus, among the projects not reported at today's session.

According to the decision's justifications, Armenia will have a military attaché accredited in Cyprus, who will coordinate the armies and military-political cooperation between the two states, strengthen bilateral interaction, and present proposals for the prospective development of collaboration between the two countries.

According to the decision, an opportunity will be created for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus through the military attaché for the practical work of the defense departments of the two countries, it will give a new quality to partnership relations in the military sphere and contribute to the further deepening of friendly ties, as well as the expansion of opportunities for military and military-technical cooperation.
