RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to the Republic of Armenia, Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Aleman.
During the meeting, the parties discussed possible ways of cooperation in the high-tech sector, emphasizing the opportunities for innovation and the exchange of experience between the two countries. The discussion also focused on the prospects for collaboration in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and space activities, taking into account Armenia's growing potential in these fields.
In his speech, Minister Hayrapetyan highly appreciated the Ambassador's visit as an essential step in strengthening technological and scientific-educational ties between Armenia and Argentina. The parties attached importance to expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The Minister presented the development of Armenia's high-tech sector, emphasizing progress in building its ecosystem. He noted that the ministry is implementing strategic initiatives to foster an innovative environment, develop a startup ecosystem, support educational and research programs, and deepen international cooperation.
Ambassador Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Aleman, in turn, highly appreciated Armenia's technological progress, expressing readiness to contribute to deepening technological cooperation between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for developing joint programs, emphasizing the importance of exchanging experience and expanding cooperation in the field of high technologies.
