On October 28, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received the participants of the visit of journalists and experts to Armenia, organized by the "For Equal Rights" Educational Center NGO and the "Barcelona Center for International Affairs" (CIDOB). Mirzoyan presented Armenia's foreign policy priorities.
The participants touched upon the new realities created in the region as a result of the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, including the importance of the Peace Agreement initialed between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the unblocking of communications for the stability and development of the South Caucasus and the wider region.
The Foreign Minister presented participants with the RA's vision for unblocking communications, reflected in the "Crossroads of Peace" project, an essential component of which is the "Trump Way".
Minister Mirzoyan presented the unprecedented dynamics of deepening the partnership between Armenia and the European Union. The perspectives for developing relations were discussed, as were directions for expanding cooperation within the new agenda of the Armenia-EU partnership, strengthening economic and people-to-people ties, and developing democratic institutions.
Thoughts were exchanged on the challenges on the path of democratic development, during which Minister Mirzoyan presented the Republic of Armenia's approaches to overcome them effectively. Mirzoyan answered other questions of interest to the participants.
