"A significant event occurred when the law on the start of Armenia's membership in the EU was adopted. Accordingly, this policy is imperative for the government, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. By 2026, we must intensify our efforts towards membership," said Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, emphasizing the aspiration to become part of the club of democratic, developing countries.
The Minister noted that a new European Integration Department has been established at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which continues its daily work towards membership. He also highlighted the issue of transport connectivity in EU-Armenia relations.
