Armenia is exclusively acquiring new-generation weapons, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan announced on Public Television.
“We have also given a boost to the local military industry in recent years. We have new, domestic weapons produced as a result of Armenian thought. We must do everything to ensure that the quality becomes competitive and enters the market,” the minister announced.
At the same time, Papikyan announced that Armenia will use its weapons and army only to protect its own sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence.
“We have no intention of using our armed forces outside the borders of Armenia,” he added.
