The canonization ceremony of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan and six other Blesseds took place in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, presided over by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
During the ceremony, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV welcomed the leaders participating in the ceremony, including Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Italy Sergio Mattarella, and other high-ranking guests.
During the canonization ceremony, an Armenian prayer was also sung in honor of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan. His Holiness conveyed his words and blessings to all those present. Within the framework of the event, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a brief conversation with the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.
