The European Union is ready to deploy its tools not only in the context of the “Trump Way” project, but also across the entire “Crossroads of Peace” initiative to promote connectivity.
According to “Armenpress”, the Ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, Vasilis Maragos, stated this during a conversation with journalists in the Syunik region, referring to the documents signed by Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States on August 8 in Washington.
The European Union welcomed the events and meetings held in Washington on August 8, and we have since expressed our readiness to support these initiatives and connectivity. We are ready to invest our tools not only within the framework of the “Trump Way” project, but also in the context of the entire “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, which was welcomed by the European Union two years ago, when the Armenian government announced it,” Maragos said.
The Ambassador added that the European Union has consistently supported peace in the South Caucasus.
“We are delighted that peace is coming. Many details still need to be clarified, but we are here as a reliable partner of Armenia, the Armenian people, and the Armenian government, to support you in this process,” Maragos noted.
