Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian.
On behalf of Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia, the Archbishop presented to Prime Minister Pashinyan the volume published on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the enthronement of Aram I. The Archbishop also conveyed to Prime Minister Pashinyan the warm greetings and blessings of Catholicos Aram I.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the donation of the volume and noted that it was a great honor for him to receive it. Nikol Pashinyan also asked to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to Catholicos Aram I.
Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian noted that they also cooperate effectively with the administration of the Matenadaran and welcomed the fact that the Government of the Republic of Armenia has donated to the Matenadaran the work of exceptional theological and manuscript value of Sargis Shnorhali, "An Explanation of Seven Catholic Letters". According to the Archbishop, His Holiness Aram I also highly appreciated the Government's step.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the activities of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, the context of events in the Middle East, and the situation of Armenian communities in Lebanon and Syria.
