Yerevan hosted the “Road to COP17” international conference, dedicated to Armenia’s growing role in the global biodiversity agenda and the preparatory process for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.
In his speech, Mr. Václav Šterba, Deputy Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation, reaffirmed the EU’s strong commitment to the successful outcome of COP17, underlining the European Union’s continued support for biodiversity-related initiatives and Armenia’s efforts to align with EU environmental policy.
