The SoftConstruct group of companies recently hosted the 7th DisruptHR event titled “Tech Edition”, acting as the leading partner of the meeting. The event was organized by Cascade People & Business.
During the event, 12 speakers from human resource management presented the possibilities and innovative solutions for utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance organizational efficiency. The risks and challenges of AI were also discussed: can artificial intelligence completely replace humans?
Arpi Karapetyan, founder and CEO of Cascade People & Business, noted that although the topic is often discussed, it remains a relevant issue. “Last year, we held international conferences that were also dedicated to AI, called The Science of Leadership. It is a well-known topic; however, we must ensure that it is the most relevant, because we are all in it and we do not know where we are going.”
Leonid Karapetyan, CEO of SoftConstruct CJSC, also touched upon the importance of combining global and local platforms at the meeting. “I talked about how to consolidate a large global company, taking into account Armenia’s geographical location and connections. One of the important challenges for every organization is to combine the global and the local. SoftConstruct has offices from São Paulo to Bucharest, and it is key for us that all employees work as a unified team. We view this as a computer operating system that has a unified Source Code and API, or local interfaces. With this approach, we connect different parts of the company,” Leonid Karapetyan noted.
He also emphasized that artificial intelligence tools can play a crucial role for a country with a small population, such as Armenia. “We should strive to be a leader in this area, not just a follower.”
Maria Karapetyan, HR Director of SoftConstruct Group of Companies, spoke about the AI factor in the future of work: “With today’s technological developments and AI, we often forget about human factors and their importance, advancement, and prioritizing human contact,” said Maria Karapetyan, emphasizing that AI can do everything, but there is one clear factor: the human factor, which cannot be replaced.
DisruptHR is a movement aimed at uniting current and future leaders, which has reached an international platform, covering about 30 countries and more than 150 cities.
