The processes of obtaining and terminating Armenian citizenship are being digitized
The electronic citizenship affairs management system has been launched.
Starting from January 1, 2026, applications will be accepted and queued exclusively through the electronic citizenship affairs system (mcs-citizenship.am).
Applicants will have the opportunity to:
Register online on the platform,
Create, edit, and submit a preliminary application for obtaining or terminating RA citizenship,
Schedule a visit to the Migration and Citizenship Service no earlier than January 22, 2026.
At a specific stage of the application process, applicants will be required to visit the Migration and Citizenship Service office once for physical identification and verification of original documents.
