Prime Minister congratulates Cyprus on Independence Day

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, on the occasion of Independence Day, which, in particular, states:

"On behalf of the people of Armenia and myself, I extend my warmest congratulations to you and the brotherly people of Cyprus on the 65th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Cyprus. This day symbolizes not only the country's path to sovereignty and democracy but also an occasion to appreciate the determination of the Cypriot people to defend their freedom, dignity, and principles.

Our countries and peoples are united by centuries-old friendship, mutual trust, and shared values. The establishment of resident embassies in Yerevan and Nicosia marks a new and promising stage in bilateral relations, reaffirming our commitment to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

On this significant day, I wish you health and success, the Republic of Cyprus continued development, and a successful upcoming presidency of the Council of the EU, and the brotherly people of Cyprus peace, unity, and prosperity."
