The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Khudatyan, wrote on his social media page:
“From today, Wizz Air flights have started in the Gyumri-Larnaca-Gyumri direction. This is the first regular flight from Gyumri’s “Shirak” airport to Europe.
Today’s first flight carried 98 passengers from Gyumri to Larnaca, and 23 passengers in the opposite direction.
Welcome to Gyumri, and have a pleasant flight.”
