Congratulatory message from Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Schooling.

"Dear students, educators, lecturers, we declared the previous academic year the year of cultural education, emphasizing creativity, the ability to relate to reality through art, recognize reality, and research, encouraging artistic and cultural education, and highlighting the content of events held in our educational institutions. Together, at the end of the previous academic year, we were able to record that the number of students visiting museums, theaters, and concert halls had increased significantly, considering the visit not only as entertainment but also as part of the educational process. We implemented numerous projects and discussions, and together held a cultural last bell, bringing new approaches to the day of summing up that critical stage of life. I want to thank you for your joint efforts.

Cultural education remains our top priority. We are waiting for you with love in our theaters, concert halls, and museums with new programs and performances. By the way, continuing the tradition started last year, this year, starting from the Independence Day of our country, September 21, you can visit the History Museum of Armenia to view the exhibition opened jointly with the Louvre Museum.

We have dubbed this academic year the' Year of Safe and Secure Education.' Together, we will discuss many important topics, placing a greater emphasis on the formation of a healthy, physically active code of conduct that is free from harmful habits. We will strive to create a safer and more secure environment in educational institutions for everyone, including students, teachers, lecturers, and other participants, by preventing and excluding all forms of violence. We will encourage healthy physical activity by organizing separate meetings with renowned athletes and learning from their examples. We will pay special attention to digital literacy and safe and protected practices in the digital environment. We will accompany all this with training, projects, and joint work.

There is no problem that we cannot talk about. Our institutions should be environments where you rush every day with love, with the expectation of discovering and creating something new. We are looking forward to a busy and active academic year. Congratulations, and I wish you all success. I especially congratulate the first graders and first-year students. A new stage begins in your life, one of the brightest and most important stages.
