On September 1, the Day of Knowledge and Education, a unique atmosphere prevailed in all schools of the republic. The first bell rang, signaling the start of the new academic year.
As every year, the Police were present alongside the students and their parents as they embarked on the path of knowledge in the schoolyards, ensuring a safe and peaceful environment while maintaining the festive atmosphere of the day without any obstacles.
Along with the start of the academic year, the enhanced "Be Careful, They're Children" service of the Police was also launched. According to tradition, the Police have again prepared thoughtfully for the start of the academic year, determining in advance which units will provide service around which educational institutions.
Patrol service groups and Community Police officers monitored traffic safety and public order in schoolyards and nearby areas in the capital and regions.
On the occasion of the start of the school year, from September 1 to 12, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police will hold events throughout the republic under the slogan "Be careful, they are children." Enhanced services will be provided in areas adjacent to general education schools and other educational institutions of the republic.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs Police urges: to accompany elementary school children to school and not leave them unattended; not to provide vehicles to minors; to be highly attentive while driving; to observe traffic rules; and not to park cars in prohibited zones.
