The Prime Minister congratulated the President of Uruguay

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Yamandú Orsi, on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day. The message reads:

“On behalf of the Armenian people and personally, I sincerely congratulate the Eastern Republic of Uruguay on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day, and extend my best wishes for peace and prosperity to the friendly Uruguay and the Uruguayan people.

We highly appreciate the friendly relations between our two states, which are based on mutual respect, trust, and shared values. The nature and content of these relations are evidenced by the close political dialogue and high-level mutual visits, which allow us to outline the ways of further development of cooperation between our countries in all areas of mutual interest.

Taking this opportunity, I reiterate my invitation to pay an official visit to Armenia at a time convenient for you.”
