On August 22, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, received Christina Quinn, the US Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia.
The interlocutors exchanged views and noted with satisfaction the agreements reached in Washington to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The issue of unblocking regional communication channels was also touched upon. The Secretary of the Security Council emphasized that the unblocking will take place in full respect of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity of countries.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the agenda of Armenia-US bilateral relations and further steps to be taken.
