From August 14-19, a high-level fire hazard situation is expected in the Ararat Valley, in the foothills of Vayots Dzor, Aragatsotn, and Kotayk, as well as in Yerevan for the next 5 days.
In Yerevan, on August 14, 15, 18-19, no precipitation is expected. On August 16-17, in the afternoon, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in separate regions, with possible hail.
Wind: northwest 2-5 m/s, during thunderstorms, wind gusts are expected to reach 17-20 m/s. On August 14-16, in the evening, wind gusts are expected to reach 15-18 m/s in Armavir, in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.
The air temperature will decrease by 2-4 degrees in the afternoon of August 16, and gradually increase by 6-8 degrees on August 17-19.
In the regions, no precipitation is expected on August 14 in the afternoon, 15, and 17-19. On August 16, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the city in the evening. On August 14-16, during the thunderstorm and in the evening, wind gusts of 14-18 m/s are expected.
