The launch of the joint Armenian-American military exercise has been announced.

On August 12, the launch of the joint Armenian-American military exercise "Eagle Partner-2025" was announced.

The opening ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Christina Quinn, high-ranking military personnel, and guests.

The national anthems of the Republic of Armenia and the United States, as well as the anthem of the "Eagle Partner" exercise, were played during the event.

The service members involved in the exercise were welcomed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, and US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Christina Quinn.

The opening ceremony concluded with a ceremonial procession.

It should be recalled that within the framework of preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the Armenian-American joint military exercise "Eagle Partner-2025" will be held in the Republic of Armenia from August 12-20.

The exercise involves service members from the RA Armed Forces Peacekeeping Brigade, US ground forces in Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard.

The main objectives of the exercise are:

  • Increasing the level of interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations,
  • Implementing the exchange of best practices in management and tactical communication,
  • Strengthening the readiness of the RA peacekeeping unit.

The exercise also includes the preparation and implementation of peacekeeping tasks, with an emphasis on medical evacuation procedures.
