Nineteen sergeants of the Armenian Armed Forces participated in sergeant retraining with the Kansas National Guard in Kansas last month. The US Embassy in Armenia reported this.
They participated in the 9th annual sergeant retraining program of the “Pyunik” platoon.
“From July 14 to 25, representatives of the sergeant corps of the Armenian Armed Forces improved their skills, got acquainted with the best American practices, while strengthening the ties between our peoples.
This annual experience exchange program between the Kansas National Guard and the Armenian Armed Forces, aimed at forming a professional sergeant corps, is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the interoperability of our armed forces and deepen the Armenian-American partnership,” the statement said.
