Team Telecom Armenia, as a technology partner, was once again at the most significant innovation project of the summer, the "Sevan Startup Summit". The geography of the tent business forum has significantly expanded in 2025, bringing together about 15,000 participants from 40 countries around the world in the Sevan basin in one week.
Team Telecom Armenia co-founders Hayk and Alexander Yesayan delivered speeches at the CampFire Talk held during the Summit, touching upon the development and prospects of the telecom and renewable energy sectors, as well as the construction of a superpowerful AI center in Armenia.
Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan emphasized the importance of the dialogue between a large infrastructure company and the IT community at the "Sevan Startup Summit".
"As a company with a large technological infrastructure and development, we are here to present where the telecom sector is going, and how innovations affect the sector and the changes taking place in it. At the same time, this is a great platform to get acquainted with new, fresh ideas, see what thoughts our young people are generating, where they are looking, and how we can combine different technological sectors," says Hayk Yesayan.
Vahagn Rapyan, Director of the "Sevan Startup Summit" project, notes that the expansion of the geography of the tent business forum significantly contributes to the launch of new initiatives.
"We tried to make the Summit a platform for events this year and held various sectoral events and educational programs. The role of our partners is important for the smooth and effective process of all this. For many years now, we have been traditionally cooperating with Team Telecom Armenia, which provides our high-quality internet connection in an area of about 40 hectares, where the infrastructure is not so developed," says Vahagn Rapyan.
This year, the Sevan EV Rally was also held within the framework of the Summit, in which the electric cars of the participants were charged at Team Energy's fast charging stations specially installed for the race—the event aimed to draw attention to the eco-environment of Lake Sevan.
It should be noted that, to date, approximately 60,000 participants from around 60 countries worldwide have been involved in the project's 12 events. Many of the more than 1,700 startup companies have received grant awards from a prize fund of about $650,000. The amount of investments and investment agreements made within the framework of the project exceeds $5 million.
