On the night of July 21-22 and in the afternoon of July 25, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in separate regions. On July 23 and 24, no precipitation is expected.
The wind is westerly, 2-5 m/s, during thunderstorms, and wind gusts are expected to reach 17-20 m/s. On the evening of July 21-25, wind gusts are expected to reach 15-18 m/s in the Armavir, Kotayk, and Aragatsotn foothills. The air temperature is expected to rise by 2-4 degrees on July 21-22.
In Yerevan, on the evening of July 21, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in separate parts of the city. On July 22-25, no precipitation is expected. In the evening hours and during thunderstorms, the wind is expected to increase to 15-18 m/s.
Due to the penetration of a tropical warm air wave from the south, a high thermal background is expected in the Ararat Valley, Syunik Valley, and Yerevan from July 21 to 25. Between 16:00 and 17:00, the daytime temperature will be +38 to +40 degrees. A high fire hazard situation is also expected in the mentioned areas, as well as in the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor for the next 5 days.
