The highest temperature in Armenia was observed in Meghri in 2011. Surenyan

Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Armenia, wrote on his social media page:

“Historical review:
The highest temperature ever observed in Armenia was observed in Meghri on July 31, 2011, at +43.7 degrees, and in Yerevan on July 12, 2018, at +42.4 degrees.”
