Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President Emmanuel Macron of the Republic of France on the occasion of the National Day. The message reads:
"Dear Mr. President, dear Emmanuel,
I warmly congratulate you and the French people on the occasion of the National Day of France.
This day, which is of great importance for the French people, provides the best opportunity to emphasize once again the special role of France in consolidating and promoting the noble universal values of freedom, equality and fraternity, as well as to reaffirm our common commitment to making them a reality for the benefit of our citizens and states.
I would like to emphasize that the historical ties between Armenia and France, rooted in these universal values and the centuries-old friendship that unites the Armenian and French peoples, have been of paramount importance in the development of our bilateral relations.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the privileged relations between our two countries, as demonstrated by the established close high-level political dialogue and practical cooperation in all areas of bilateral cooperation, without distinction. These relations have today evolved into a strategic partnership, thanks to your steadfast commitment.
I want to emphasize with satisfaction that the cooperation between our two countries now encompasses important areas, such as the fight against climate change, the protection of biodiversity, and the development of artificial intelligence. In this context, I want to reaffirm Armenia's commitment to contributing to the efforts aimed at addressing these global challenges.
We also highly appreciate the continued necessary support of friendly France and your efforts aimed at establishing a just and lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
I congratulate you once again on this significant day for the French people and extend my best wishes for peace and prosperity.
With great anticipation of hosting you in Armenia this year on a state visit, please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration.
Warmly, Nikol Pashinyan."
