On July 11, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Kristina Kvien and the newly appointed Defense Attaché, Colonel Matthew Crowe.
The Head of the RA Defense Ministry congratulated Colonel Matthew Crowe on his appointment, wishing him fruitful work.
During the meeting, issues related to the progress and development prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the United States in the defense sector were discussed. The current level of collaboration was assessed as high by both sides. The American side expressed its readiness to continue supporting the defense reforms being implemented in Armenia.
Issues related to regional and international security were also discussed.
